I hit 35 - 35 hits back, Hard!

So I'm now officially middle age.

In a sudden burst of mid-life crisis-cism, I then decide to:

1. Get drunk.
2. Splurg on something expensive, impractical and shiny.

Getting Drunk:

Never, ever send out an email that actually says "Gonna drink myself into a depressive stupor", especially as the characters I sent the email to then decide to take me up on the challenge...

Needless to say, many, many different cocktails, a flaming Waterfall and a tequila pop later, I woke up, having passed out at the bar, threw up (politely into a handy bucket, so no mess), then got up, staggered into a cab, and went home.

Where I threw up again (This time in my garden, right where I could wash it off with my garden hose - yes, I am a considerate drunk).

And yes, dear friends, I did realise that I left my handphone behind, and I did get my cabbie to turn back, but by then, my stuff was collected by the mediaslut.

Surprisingly, since I threw up twice. I woke up without much of a hangover...

2. Splurging

Unfortunately for me, no big bucks to buy a Ferrari,so I went for the MP3 player equivlent, which is the iPod Nano.

Expensive? Yes, considering that other MP3 Players are cheaper, with greater capacity, like the slightly costlier 8GB Creative Zen Micro Photo.

Impractical? Well, if you consider that I already own a Creative Zen Vision, with a nice huge screen and 30GB hard drive to play videos on the go, then maybe. But the Zen leaves a huge bulge in my pants (hrm.. maybe not a bad thing), and the Nano... well, it's sooooo cool, and soooo light. I plugged it into my Powerbook, and immediately transfered my comparatively small iTunes library into it. Didn't even read the manual.

Shiny? Oooooh Shiny! Super shiny, sleek and sexy, especially as I got the Black 4GB Nano (at a 10% media discount too).

In fact. Consider that both my brothers own standard iPods (big bro's got the U2 Black), and I've been a Macuser and rabid MacGeek for 14 years. Bearing this in mind, isn't is a bit strange that this is actually my first ever iPod??
